FORD SERVICE COVERAGE; OK, let's get started

Why are certain 3.5L ecoboost engines exhibiting condensation issues to varying degrees and some are problem free? Many of us here are clicking away happy miles (such as myself) while many users here are having or have had numerous issues.

Is there a cure all fix for this coming?

Is there any truth to the much rumored / highly anticipated 5.0L ecoboost for the Superduty trucks?

I would like to add that since this forum has no appointed moderator as of yet, let's please be respectful and courteous to any and all Ford reps and our fellow users.

Extending warranty on 6.4 motors due to known defect on idler pulley's?

These pulley's are know to fail quickly. Perhaps a redesign is in order. But at the very least we need help with those. Most last just around 60K miles.

Do you guys have a dedicated Ford rep who is already lined up to answer questions here? Or are we just hoping one will show up?

Why can't you get an F150 with a left A pillar grab handle?

High step-in height and then what can you grab onto to boost yourself into the cab besides the steering wheel? Which within a few years, won't do the steering column any good.

I'm 68 years old (may be 69 by the time the Ford rep reads this), 6-5 and had a 2011 F150 2WD 5.0L Lariat Stupor Crew I bought 1/22/2011.

It's now sitting on Super Ford's used car lot (it's been there since 10/15/2012!), because it had became ergonomically undesirable.

Are there plans to change the way the wheel well on the super duty pickup box is done to prevent rust?

Re the 3.5 Eco condensation issue. Only 6600 miles on 2013 explorer sport but no issues other than mft snafus. Maybe the twin turbos have something that helps ?

As far as getting into the 2013 f 350 we just use the steering wheel and don't give it a second thought :-)

And I ordered the liners for the 350 but rust is not usually an issue with my vehicles. ...... Don't keep the long enough and no salt in winter and ver Lil rain in summer!

Seems Ecoboost issues might be fixed now. What about steering wheel pop mess, not cold air on some brand new '13s, etc.? I wish Ford would use some Apple technology in their radio, dashboard thingamabob. I'm thinking Apple/Ford alliance to have maybe iPad mini installed there! Now, that would be a nice, user friendly whatchamacallit.

Ford and Apple? Ugg!!!

Sincerely,

Non-Apple fan.

I agree 100% that there's room for improvement with the Sync system though.

How about Ford sets aside one of the 2014 model year F150 for me to scoop up around October of 2014? I'm sure the new model will be out, so I'm thinking half price seems fair.
Thanks.

When I bought my 2005 in 2011, I thought I might buy a 2012 in 2013, but that's been pushed back.
