vent air

I have a 2000 psd and air coming out of the vent is always warm, irregardless of ambient temperature. AC works fine and if I switch over to defrost, the air is cooler. Any ideas or is this common?

Thanks, Chad

the fresh air comes in on the drivers side cowling and has to pass right over top of the turbo, which in turn heats it up, i dont remember who all has done it but drilling the cowl on the passengers side seemed to help a lot.....
