So far I haven't had any issues with my 302 yet. Granted it has had to do a bit more work to get moving, but once it's moving she has no problem doing what i tell her to. Except for sand, I took her down to Pismo and was playing around on the dunes and i slid down on the driver side into soft sand. A couple hours of digging and she drove right out.

Air down the tires next time (to 15-20psi) and you won't need to dig yourself out.

I aired mine down to 18psi both times I was there, and had no problems, makes a big difference

I had it down to 15 psi each tire. Just extremely soft sand.

Another question. With a 32 gallon tank and being in 4 high pretty much the entire trip (possibly in 4 low part of the time) would I be safe with two 5 gallon Jerry cans? Also ill probably running lower psi in my tires as well.

If the terrain is rugged you have no need to lower the tire pressure. You said the trail was 150mi long, then you should be fine even without the extra gas, but it's good to have it available.

I agree with Encho, no need to lower tire psi if it is not sand or loose dirt. I just went four wheeling in Ballinger OHV and did not lower my tire psi once. As for the extra gas, you probably will not need it, but again, it is better to have and not need, then need and not have, besides, maybe one of your buddies will need it. So I would take it just to be safe.

This one question is a bit off topic. if I wanted to weatherproof the inside of my truck I thought about getting a rhino lining kit which I've heard works really well offroading vehicles. A cheaper way I've heard is using the spray on bedliner like the rattlecan stuff works really well too. Anyone done this out know anything about it?

Diesel Brad has done some great work with Rhino Lining, I would advice you to do it right the first time, some vinyl flooring should work too if done properly. I wouldn't use anything from a rattle can and expect good results.
