Tugly's Toe-Tap
Something was going on in theTugly/Stinky household recently: It was personal stuff, but suffice to say it sapped the sense of satire right out of me. I've noticed that while trying to be helpful on the forum, I've grown more clinical (read – boring). Summer's here (if you can call rain instead of snow a summer), and I have big plans for Da Big Stink...now that he's a pleasure to drive like before I started the stick spectacle. Each adventure will be chronicled here with a return to a narrative style that I find fun to formulate... complete with interspersed alliteration, a slanted view, metaphors, and dictionary bending.
I won't be jumping in on every stubborn-start, fluid-fountain, and stick-stutter... but I'll have my pager on. You guys already do an excellent job of this, so you don't really need another voice in the choir. I have been trying to find time to get more AE going for the class, but it's been a challenge recently – I hope to change this as well.
Moving along:
I have friends that ride along any time I'm situated on Stinky's seat – Pedal, Matt and CC. Pedal and Matt are a cute couple near and dear to me... never more than a step away. If they talk, I've never heard it, but I know they like certain music... and some of the music they enjoy can be quite moving. Say Kenny G oozes out of the radio, Pedal and Matt take a nap... and CC (who's a bit of a loner) hums along. If I switch from the radio to my own play list on the SD card, some Cheryl Crow livens things up and our venerable couple enjoy a little toe-tapping. When "Rammstein" pops on the screen of the head unit, Matt and Pedal move closer to each other (with lust in their eyes)... and you can actually hear the energy in the air. Pedal's favorite music? Bass throngs... from any ricer that pulls alongside. She just loses all self control and pounces on Matt... where they then proceed to make bacon - and everything sizzles.
