had test done at local shop PASSED, but he said not if i wouldn't have had carb number for air cleaner, had K and N on when i bout it, has had 6637 for 5 yrs. now, yust didn't take sticker off . told him he is was wrong o well just had to say somthing, ($68) great state of ca.

 

I think I know who you are talking about. He told me he would not pass it even with the CARB sticker for the AFE filter. That's why I went to Redding - no hassle at all.

 

Because the guy is a fool, uninformed, or a jerk. Either way, as you already know, ANY intake on a diesel is allowed.
