Socket size for oil sending unit?
For the 5.8L. I have a 1 1/16" socket, but it is a hair too small. The 1 1/8" socket is to big

Socket size for oil sending unit?
I bought a special socket for mine at less than $8.00 that reads 1 inch & 1 1/16 inch. Works great.

Socket size for oil sending unit?
Many do indeed take a special socket specifically for oil pressure sending units.
