I'm currently running 225-70-19.5's but am going to start towing a 4 car open trailer. The 1st car is right over the Bed.
Because of this I want to step up to a 245-70-19.5 based on load rating.
225 is 3700 lbs and 245 is 4300 lbs. I'm a believer that more is better.
Question is does anybody run the 245's on stock DRW rims? Not sure if a spacer is required.
Thanks for any and all input
Mike
I have a F450 DRW CC and have changed to 245-70-19.5 using the stock rims. There is plenty of room between the tires even with my 4500# camper on the truck. The tire mfg recommends using a 7" wide rim but they do fit on a stock 6" rim.

Real world experince. Nothing better
