i have a 1988 450 superduty 7.3 using a lot of oil since oil change blue smock out the exhaust. i read something about the cdr, what is it and where is it located thanks new to site
The cdr is the tuna can looking thing right behind the air cleaner. Some say you can clean them with gas or some kind of cleaner an others say replace.
I got my off a Donor truck when I added the turbo and it makes mine burn oil. I tried cleaning and no luck. I am about to order one
just incase the cdr is not the problem and i decide to change motors ,i can get the 1994 7.3with turbo out of a crew cab with a automatic. will flywheel and every thing fit in my 1988 f450 superduty 7.3 non turbo dump with the 5 speed standerd shift tranny.how about the computer are they the same[ please help].
