I have the chance to pick up a pretty mint 08 F450 for cheap. The one hiccup is that it has 180k on the odometer. Providing the Oasis comes back clean, would you consider it? Of course, once I get it, I would delete it. Thanks for any input.
there is way to many variable here before you start throwing out numbers i just kbb a xl with no options 2wd fair trade in $7550 - excellent $11300 and then a fully loaded king ranch 4wd private party fair $18640- excellent $23040.
I would like to know whats on the oasis and then if they have maintenance records on top of that for having that many miles. also hows the tires and ball joints. that alone can add up to what ~$3 grand? more?
Don't put all your faith in the Oasis report. Post lots of pics for us to give feedback. Engine compartment with close ups of intake, EGR's & degas bottle. Exhaust tips, engine hours, DPF bolts. Looking for signs that it was deleted at one point. Full maintenance records?
I walked on it. After looking it over, I just didn't get a good feeling on it. Underneath had a lot of rust and looked like it had been beat. There was white goo around the oil filler cap. I'm just meant to keep building the V10. Thanks for all of the replies.
