I have a 2005 f350 diesel 6.0, the code for the exhaust pressure sensor and turbo under boost came on, I was looking for a DIY on cleaning and changing the eps, I'm not sure where it is. Any help would be appreciated
<p>The EBP sensor is located just forward of and below the FICM ( the FICM is the aluminum case with fins on the drivers side valve cover ) and is connected to the front of the drives side exhaust manifold via a tube. Remove the sensor and run a piece of weed whacker line or a stiff pipe cleaner through the tube into the exhaust manifold, make sure the engine is cool before doing this. And I just use compressed air and blow out the end of the sensor.</p> It is also a good idea to pull and clean the MAP hose and clean the hose nipple at the intake, The MAP sensor is located just above the evaporator housing on the passenger side and is connected to the passenger side intake manifold via a rubber hose.

X2 on that also and we just went thru this most EBP sensers are on a plate attatched to the Thermostat housing 05/06 some we moved to the location that Mustang noted( why cant ford leave well enough alone)
yes the connections that mustang was refurring to would cause boost issues and there not that hard to take off and clean up this will help ,but when you take the connections off IT WILL throw a code , but don't worry erase them and start fresh
MAP connection to Intake the nipple and intake hole gets clogged
IAT2 senser , will get sooted pull and clean
EBP tube that goes to the Manifold some times gets blocked
Remember to use Carb cleaner and a plumbers flux brush AND don't get the electrical side of the sensers I wrap with an old sock
and ware your safety glasses that stuff burns like
Here is the link to the 2005 running changes PDF in the tech folder that shows the old location of the EBP sensor and the new one, https://www.ford-trucks.com/ford-man...ges-Update.pdf it is on the drivers side of the engine.
