Years ago...8 or more...I updated my ignition by swapping out my stock distributor (which seemed to always be burning through points). As I remember it I picked up an 80 F100 dizzy and control module. But now that I need a new cap and rotor that part description isn't pulling up the right parts.
I found a part number on the dizzy body but it's hard to read. It appears to read E8AE 1213 DA (or perhaps 23 DA), but I'm not finding anything with that part number. It's a 1988 casting number, so unless it was a reman dizzy remanufactured for 80 (or unless they were the same through that time range) it's not an 80 F100. What's more it's a narrower diameter than the dizzys/caps/rotors that I'm pulling up by searching 80's anything with a 302.
Can anybody verify/deny/correct that dizzy part number and/or give me part numbers for cap and rotor?
Those look like any SBF dist cap and rotor. A lot of those will mix and match. I would say that a standard rotor would work for you, try getting a '70 302 rotor (yours is a '70 correct?)

Dave,
It's a 69. The lug inside the rotor won't fit down in the notch in the distributor post. Could maybe try to shave it down? (the lug that is)
Well, for starters, the number you see cast into the dist body is an engineering number, not a part number. It won't cross reference to anything regarding the application your particular distributor came in originally. That same body could have been used in any number of years or engines. In addition, as you stated, if it was a reman unit purchased aftermarket, all bets are off for figuring out any of the original particulars. It could have been altered to any spec. But if you're saying you converted your ignition to use Duraspark II components, the typical 2 piece cap with corresponding rotor, used since 1976 and well into the 80's, should fit.

Thanks for the lead. A little research and I think I found the right dizzy parts...75 F100 302 has an identical dizzy with the same cap/rotor/vacuum pot as what's in my hand. I believe that's where' we'll start with the parts shops tomorrow!
I ran into this with a customers 302. I think #2707? . Anyways come to
find out there are two of them both different. Napa lists one suppose to
fit all nope. One skinney oil shaft drive and fat oil shaft drive one small
gear one fat gear the fat gear I swear looks like a FE 390 style. Anyways
we could not come up with a skinney one. Sorry couldnt help him and
even it the oil pump was replaced the gear is still wrong..
