I replaced the ball joints with moog and there was no difference in steering so I went back to the dealer where I bought the truck and told hwhat I did and he asked me if I replaced the ball joints with oem Ford and I said no I replace them with Moog and he said that's the problem they are too tight you must replace them with ford ball joints, he said the steering is searching for center and can't find it. Is this true?
Sounds like horse hockey to me. I've read quality may be falling off a bit on some of the Moog line, but it's a longevity issue. Besides, a ball joint has a lot of pressure on it. It would have to be very very tight to make a significant difference. Toe in-out is the likely issue but could be caster also.

Do you know the proper torgue specs for upper and lower ball joints, I can't seem to find them?
There is an adjustment video on youtube, my truck does the same thing I got the jam nut loose but cant tighten the allen head because of the coolant hose and fan shroud.
It was a little loose but not shot so I changed it anyway I didn't torgue the ball joints I'm wandering if they are too tight do you know the torgue specs
