Well my automotive A.D.D. was in full swing; I was heading to a friends shop to hit the frame with the grinder/flapper wheel and apply some POR15 and then it started. First I go to start the truck and it makes a terrible noise, the starter has died. Ordered a mini starter for a '95 F250 which will spin any compression big block and has a lifetime warranty. On the drive up to the shop the play in the steering wheel reached my breaking point, everything has been changed except the steering box and a call to redhead had a rebuilt unit at the shop in two days. When on the hoist I discovered the rad hoses were getting pretty soft so ordered some stainless hoses from Summit. Hopefully everything is done this week and I'm beating on it by next week-end. The one positive, I did get the frame painted
Got the upper rad hose swapped to a stainless flex line, and the lower replaced with a new rubber one (2" flex is not available). The redhead steering box was a straight forward swap and the truck drives like new, all traces of wander are gone. The starter I'm still fighting with but I'm getting close.
