1992 Steering
I just got a 92 f-250. The steering sort of wanders alittle, so I thought it was a centerlink problem, which does have a little slop in it but not as bad as I thought it would have, anyways I had my wife today move the steering wheel while I looked under the truck to see the center link, when I looked I noticed the frame where the steering box forward towards the bumper was moving/twisting somewhat, anybody have or seen this before, and what could I do to fix this? Probably take it to the shop right?

Well I have seen something close to this but what I would do is jack the front of the rig up in the air so that both tires are not touching the ground then move the wheel side to side. See if the
Steering box still moves if it does. THen I would look at the retaining bolts that hold the unit on the Frame..

I think I found the problem, there is a crossmember right behind the steering box and all the rivets are loose thus allowing the frame to flex somewhat. I'm putting bolts in it to see if it will solve the problem, I think it will.
