e4od problems
i have a 95 f 250 7.3 i was pulling a heavy load and the tranny got hot but not to bad after unhooking trailer i had no reverse and only 1 and 2 gears would not shift into third so i limped it home the next day i tried it and it shifted out okay and reverse was fine i dropped the pan and there was qiute a bit of shavings in the bottom so i pulled it and installed a rebuild kit and new torque convertor flushed out the tranny cooler and lines and installed a bigger cooler reinstalled tranny and filled now i have good engagement in reverse and nothing in d or 2 very light engagement in 1 it will barely pull itself on level ground i did not replace solenoid pack i have power to solenoid pack but none to mlps with key on engine off did i get something wrong with the rebuild or did something else happen. everything seemed to go fine with the rebuild

Have you put a gauge on the tranny to see what the pressure is in each gear by chance? I would also check the harness connections but it is strange that if it is electrical you don't have a flashing OD indicator light. Does it shudder at all?

no i have not hooked up a guage yet i have checked and cleaned the connections it does shudder as its trying to go forward i unhooked the wiring harness for the solenoid pack and reverse engages much firmer and so does 1 gear i get engagement when i just put it in drive with the pack unhooked but it still shudders i think i need a solenoid pack but i wanted some ones opinion that knows more than me ( that should be an easy one there)
