I have a 79 f100 302 it tries to turn over but won't start. I'm getting no fire out of the coil. I changed it out still nothing. What can it be? Please help me it is all I got.

Well I asked twice bc i didnt kmow if it went through and the same problem still presented itself in each statement so if you know your vehicles you would of known what i was talking about. Thanks for your help, but no thanks. I got it fixed. It was the ICM.
Agree with fmc400, post as much info as possible. Diagnosing problems by long distance is difficult at best, the more information, the better. All this is to try and help you.
As for your problem, you have the Dura-spark II system. Usually, but not always, when there is no spark, the control box mounted on the drivers side splash pan just ahead of the master cylinder is bad.
If you find that's the problem, pry open your wallet and spend the bucks for a genuine Motorcraft replacement. The offshore, Chinese POS you get at most chain stores can cause more problems than they cure. And they don't seem to last very long.
