Watch CL for fenders or a whole bed. You can resell your bed then. The last one I did, I found a set of fenders for $500. I think we've discussed that before. For $2000 you can find a new take off bed with fenders, and sell yours for $1200 after...
Are you saying that the A/M fenders are close, if so what company do you have experience with?

You could just find the fenders and make something for the fuel filler too. I've seen it done before.
I've used these before too and they were good and reasonable. Dually Fenders for Ford Dually Trucks, 1980-2013 Model Years
Get a transfer tank, then direct plumb it into the fill neck with a valve solenoid in the line. Hide the old fill neck with a standard dually fender and fill the truck through the t-tank. Or if you want to hide the tank under a soft bed cover, get a small one that's 30ish gallons with a manual valve; you fill the t-tank, open the valve, and can't overflow the stock tank.
Or get a full Transferflow setup that has the fancy little box and the fuel pump in it, and always fill through the t-tank and transfer to the main tank. They make a 37gallon model that should fit under a cover and avoid the 5th wheel hitch.
It's fun to make-believe when it's not my money

....of move the fuel fill to the inside of the new fender. Seen that before too for rear aux tanks.

This?
I can work around the fuel filler issue that's not a big deal, my worry is with the quality of the A/M fenders all together, the reviews on these things are mixed.
I was thinking that the 11-up dually fenders wouldn't look too bad on our style trucks because they aren't as big, and they don't look like they would make me have to monkey with the fuel door at all, which means less bodywork, which I have to pay for.
So D, did you use just the dually fenders or the conversion kit, and if you used the kit how well was it constructed? That is my other worry, without being able to put my hands on 1 or talk to someone that actually used it I'm a little nervous to pop on a 1600.00 what if?
And as always my issue is will the adapters fail and I cause more harm to my truck or god forbid someone else on the road.
I still have much to think about.

No part numbers though you could probably message them and as however. They might ask for a vin so go onto ebay find a dually give them the vin then they will send you the part numbers, i do it all the time when looking for parts out of other trucks that don't match mine. They even told me to go on ebay and find vin's to pull part numbers from lol.
