If your referring to my picture, I have 20K on the performance radiator on the left. I personally would not bother with a plastic one, I went thru two of them before getting my good one.
I got a plastic one well see how it goes this truck won't see any salt so it should sry together for a while when I start doing a lot of mods ill look a getting an aluminum one I'm just trying to get the truck running right before I put mods into the truck
Tried to post this last night but FTE blocked me out or was down, IDK.
FTE was 404 for a while last night.
Someone ought to make one of these with a plate welded to the top of the top tank, just above where the reservoir hose fitting is, so when some goober like me climbs up there and his knee slips here or there, it won't bust the fitting and ruin an otherwise perfectly good radiator. Haven't done it myself, but I've come close, and have read WAAAAY too many recounted tales of this happening.
Well installed the new rad filled it up with water and drove it around for 20-25 min highway and city and it did the trick stayed in between the "N" and the "O" the whole time in the city it barely sat on the "O" the whole time even let it idle in the drive way for 10 or 15 min and it never left the "O" so it's good now. I'm waiting on the water to drain so I can add the fleet charge I picked up this afternoon thanks for all the help guys
