2006 F-250 W/5200# Front Coils, looking for the best way to get up to or below 1.5". Biggest question is, will this height require a trackbar relocation bracket?
Ford F-550 7000# Coils $200 for the pair from Ford
Rough Country 1.5" Lift Coils (Progressive) $180 Online
Skyjacker 1" Leveling Kit (Sits Below Spring Perch) $100 Online
Ready Lift 1.5" Leveling Kit (Sits Below Spring Perch) $150 Online
I'm leaning towards either the Ford or Rough Country coils. Assuming an alignment is the only thing needed after install? Axle will still be centered under the truck?
The F550 coils will be solid like a rock at 1800# more than your stock springs, they would be my last choice unless you are doing this so you can plow. I would choose the progressive springs because I value a smooth ride. At 1.5" lift you can probably get away with the stock pitman arm and track bar, the axle shouldn't move more than a half inch. Alignment needed to recenter the steering wheel, maybe, and put caster back at 3 - 4 degrees positive.
