CB Installation

Hey, what's the best way to install a CB? I was thinking about putting the antenna on the bed towards to cab but that means I'd have to drill a hole through the cab right?

Can people post pictures of their installs if they have a CB?

I mount my antenna on the front rail of my bed in the middle. Then run the coax through a hole in the bottom of my bed, under the cab and in through the firewall. No drilling into the cab needed.

How long of a cable did you use? Did you tuck it to a frame rail as well or just have it taught up against the cab?

You got any pictures by chance?

Ill post pics of mine when I get home. I have the antenna on my bed box and then the cable goes through a hole under my cab that was there and under the carpet to my dash. I have a cobra where its all compact in the handheld kinda like the factory option one.

I also have a overhead shelf I have a PA and stuff on hehe.
