I'd like to mount an antenna to the bed of the truck, but I'm not sure where to run the cable into the cab? ON the 04s, are there any openings between the cab and the bed of the truck for one reason or another?? I'd hate to drill. Or possibly up under the cab?? I could run it underneath and into the vehicle. Just curious if anyone has done this.

there is a passageway (im 99% sure) that goes through the body behind the back seat but its nearly impossibe to reach between the bed and the cab to run a wire through. I just put a magnet mount antenna on the roof and ran the wire down the side along the door sealant. works fine
Allen,
My coax runs from the antenna to one of the gromets on the bed that I cut hole in and then into the cab via the vent that is behind the back seat that Black2004 mentioned. It took a bit of contorting but I was able to actually get my hand and arm in a position to fish RG8 coax (the big stuff) that already had a PL-259 connector on it, into the cab. The vent has a thin rubber flap that you'll need to hold in the open position with one of your fingers while pushing the coax with your other hand and guided by your other fingers on the hand holding the flap up. Your'e not going to be able to see any of this it has to be done purely by feel but it can be done.
THAT is exactly what I was looking for. Perfect. Hey, is it easy to read the CB from where you have it mounted or do you have to sit back a bit? Nice job!
