Air conditioner compressor question
2006 F350 6.0 Diesel with climate control. Symptom - lose of most the cold air. Evac'd and refilled refrigerant to spec. Still mediocre cold (there is a little cooling taking place so I assume the vents and climate control are working correctly). Was watching the compressor cycle so pulled the connector to the switch on the low pressure side and shorted it out. No change. The compressor still cycles. What else could be directing the compressor to cycle? Is this the right question to ask? What should I look at next? Thanks!
