BEFORE I TEAR 2 TRUCKS APART, DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF A ZF 5SPD STICK HANDLE WILL FIT ON A 2008 6SPD? I HAVE MY DADS WWII K-BAR WELDED TO MY STICK, I'VE HAD IN A 97,99,01. NOW I HAVE AN 08, AND DON'T KNOW IF IT IS THE SAME 2 BOLT PATTERN AS THE OLD ZF'S

 

Here is a bump back to the top. Have you called a transmission shop
that specializes in these two units? You may also try one of the aftermarket
builders and see if they have an idea how to make the swap so it will
work for you.

cant you just try to swap them and then put the '08 back together if it doesn't work?
