Having a somewhat scary problem.....my truck is already a rough ride due to the fabtech lift and the 37's and you get a lot of feedback through the steering wheel. Its a rough ride down the highway but where it gets scary is at lower than highway speeds like 35-45 range. I can hit a bump and it will send the trucl into this insane cavitation that will literally shale the fillings out of your teeth. I cannot tell if it is in the drive wheels or the front wheels. The best way I can describe it is that its like trying to push a buggy in wal mart with a bad caster wheel on it. It feels like you are about to have a wheel fall off or that its broken off a tie rod or something. Then you simply slow down to a stop and you can drive right on like nothing was wrong. The vibration or shaking does not slow down with the speed. I cannot find anything obvious broken or damaged but this thing is getting dangerous to drive.

I was, in the business for many years and this thread and many others on this site are reflections of what customers who had to have that hey look at me added to their ride. Unless you need these add ons for your truck then expect what is happening with this poster.
Search here or google Ford Death Wobble. Sounds like a classic case of it. If all the front end parts are in good serviceable shape then you may need a new single or dual steering stabilizer especially with the lift and large tires. Both throw the factory designed geometry off or out side the intended design. There are fixes though.
Bought it this way.....I would noy have chosen the lift myself but it is what it is. Too expensive to put ot back to factory. Its actually a pretty sharp looking set up and I have worked on enough vehicles to know to expect some roughness but this is downright unsafe.
Well i am where i am with it. I need to and will fix it.....i am looking for folks with common problems or advice on how to fix it. Not looking for criticism over it, just advice. Thanks.
Look a hands_on look at what your problem is would be best...but given the unseen info I have is at best is a limited enough source, but again the description is exactly that of a tire/wheel issue and not a lift problem.
If your inspection shows nothing obvious, then really look at the track bar rod ends or bushings. A loose bushing in the track bar is a classic cause of wobble. The other classic cause is insufficient caster. You should have 3 - 4 degrees or even a bit more, and the radius arm design of the 05 and up SD guarantees that you lose significant caster when you lift the truck, and you need a kit or special bushings or both to put it back, depending on how much lift you have.
