Wheel help, possibly downsizing.

Hi everyone, and thanks in advance.

I recently purchased a 2006 F350 6.0 Harley Edition. I'm in the market for new wheels and tires and had a couple questions.

I'm not really into the 20" rims that came with the truck (Price - tires and wheels, and looks)...What are some of the issues I would encounter if I downsized and went with 18" rims?

I am planning on towing a 5th wheel maybe a couple of times a month.

No issues as long as you retain the factory tire size for the 18's. It would ride better, tires would be cheaper, and look better (IMO).

keep the same overall diameter as your current wheels and the truck will never know the difference

make sure you buy only Load Range E's

Keep your eyes on Craigslist. You'll see 17 and 18 inch wheels pop up from time to time.
