Electric fans draw a lot of current; you'll have to upgrade your alternator.
second that.... Mine draw 25 amps each...... the old 60 amp alternator was not cutting it......
During the installation make sure that your grounds are super solid and to the frame or battery, not to any of the sheet metal. each fan needs it's own relay, I am using three. one for each fan and one that I have hooked to a toggle switch that turns them both on. I also have a temp switch that will kick the fans on automatically when water temps reach 180. the toggle switch is a fail safe in the event the temp switch fails.
Nice setup you got there Brad. Eventually I may go electric but since I'm not drivin my '67 a lot right now, my old steel fan without even a clutch is adequate for the time being. Later.
