Second horn?
Another nice horn is from the 90s Roadmaster I think.
I don't care for train horns or air horns. They are just a nuisance.
It's a setup from Hornblasters (which are manufactured by Buell, the only reason I bought the kit from Hornblasters was that it saved me having to track down tubing and a solenoid valve) and I already have air on the truck via engine driven compressor. Can't stand buzzing electric compressors and the whiney electric motors that go with them, and they don't flow much anyhow.
For control, well my cruise was broke when I bought the truck and I didn't care to repair it so I used a few of the existing cruise control wires in the steering wheel to rewire the factory horn to one of the two horn buttons. The other horn button now operates the solenoid valve to the air horns.
And of course a few weeks after I got them I heard someone else out on the main road with the same horns... so I adjusted the tuning screws on mine until they sounded better and not like everyone else who has that setup.
Ain't been in any trouble with them... they are powerful and so need to be used wisely. Don't ride around just trying to scare people walking out of stores and stuff, don't blow them at anyone on a motorcycle, watch out for the lawman, don't use them near a drawbridge or swingbridge (yes it's illegal, only boats can do that), etc.
