Corey is here n we spent about 2 days working on it. It's bright as day in there!!! Where would a thread belong about the man cave?? I really only am on here (6.0 section).

Back to the topic tho,,, question for you Moe,,, You mentioned a lil snid bit about asking someone about flowing metal in the crankcase and couldn't get a definite answer from them. Have you monitored any 6.0's about how much metal is common to find in the oil? I was hoping I could get some of you guys to post some pics or videos of you doing a magnet sweep of the oil filter housing. Does noone want to know??? Lol.

Checked one yesterday at work. Had small amount of metal on drain plug (looked like small chips) but nothing in the filter housing. This was on a factory reman short block that got one cylinder head . Customer brought it in for its first oil change after install.

During an oil change, I have taken a sample and sent it in "as is" and also took a sample that I swept with a magnet and sent that in also.

I had no difference in the iron analysis from Blackstone. I could not see any metal on the magnet either. The magnet was a rare earth magnet (strong).
