FUEL ISSUE?
Moved on thinking it might be sucking air so after investigation i found that the metal fuel line was crushed allmost flat where it turns and goes up around the oil pan.Temporarily "fixed" it by replacing the metal line with another line that was sitting around the shop. Now she's dead in the water, tried shooting air in the fuel tank to force the fuel, but only managed to get fuel as far as the lift pump, can;t get fuel to the filter.Question is,shouldn't i be able to at least hear air coming out the filter housing when the filter is unscrewed and while shooting air into the fuel tank? Thanks!
It also *could* be clogged.
Now, when you push air into the tank, you get fuel out of the input line to the pump, but when it's connected, no further? Sounds like the pump is shot/clogged perhaps?
With my (good) pump, I can suck fuel through it with a squeeze-bulb, so it should work as a pass-through when you've got pressure on the input line... I think.
