After a 8yr tenure with Toyo Open Country A/T tires I switched to Kelly Safari TSR, 285/75/16. I have logged 7,000mi so far and they are already proving to be superior to the Toyo tires. Much better traction on and off road, wearing better and they were $400 cheaper.
One of my buddies is running the Michelin LTX A/T2 on his Dmax and likes them. I went slightly more aggressive with the Goodyear Duratrac. I wouldn't hesitate buying another set of BFG A/T's. Never been a fan of the Toyo A/T's.
I picked up a set of Michelin LTX M/S2's last year, 285/ 75-16 load range E for a little over $1000 plus balancing. LTX M/S2 | Michelin Tires I couldn't be happier with them. They have a 70k mile warranty, they balance well, ride well, and have outstanding wet road traction. Pricier than most, but if you factor the added cost over 5 or so years, it's really not that much more for a product you'll be pleased with over that length of time.

Another vote for the Michelin LTX MS2. They last forever and ride super smooth and quiet.
I've run Michelin and Maxxis. The best overall is the Michelin LTx MS2 for ride quality and tread life. Have Michelin LTX AT2s on now and the tread seperated on two of them after 35K. Overall the LTX AT2s had the best traction in dirt, snow and ice. Ran a set of Maxxis 753s once. Great off road tire but not much fun on the highway. Stayed real busy fighting the drift on pavement. Overall the Michelin LTX MS2 is a great tire, just not as good snow and ice traction. Got 95k on a set on my full size Blazer. Good investment if you have the $ upfront.
