All-Terrain Tires

So Im looking for new tires for my 2005 Super Duty 4x4. I have tried the search feature with little help. I was looking for 35x12.5x17 tires 315/70/17 same size? Also my truck will have an 4" lift on it for the new tires.
Most of my driving is on-road I would say about 95% I would like them to be great in snow, rain, and highway. I want All-Terrain Tires but like some M/T tires as well.
I have been looking at:
Toyo Open Country M/T
Goodyear Wrangle MT/R Kevlar
Goodyear DuraTrac
General Grabber AT2
BFGoodrich The All-Terrain T/A KO
Hankook Dynapro MT
Toyo Open Country A/T Tire
Firestone?
Bridgestone?
Any others I should look at
Thanks ~Gage~

I just got 45 k out of my procomp extreme AT's and they still have enough tread that I can tire shop at a relaxed pace , I have the 325/65/18
unfortunatly they don't have a decent next size taller so I am looking at Toyo and Nitto

ps the most complained about tire I have read about is the duratrac

315/70/17 is about 34.4 x 12.4 so yes its basically the same size.

I've been very happy with my BFGoodrich All Terrain TAs they are a great all around tire for pretty much everything except mud.

I gave up on the BFG because where I live the lakes and even my storage area have pea + sized gravel and the BFG's love to grab and hold as much as possible untill you hit 20mph

I can speak for Goodyear, I have 35'MTR's and they handle any and everything that I throw at them. I hate saying that, I've never been a big fan of Goodyear,

I have the Toyo Open Country's on my F150 (AT's), like them a lot.

The Cooper Discoverer (HT,AT & MT) is good all around tire as well and they're not too expensive.

yup I think in landscape terms the 1/2 inch minus really liked to get in the tread ,, I used to pull over after getting my boat and pick/kick them out ,, the procomp A/T have a wider tread opening and I never had an issue

Thanks guys....I was just looking at Pro Comp Extreme AT's, theres no dealer nearby. I would order online but what if they send me a bad tire? I have to pay to ship it back?
What online dealer is good for tires/wheels?
Thanks ~Gage~

I have seen some online deals gone bad
but Most local tire stores can get anything

ps the Procomps are directional so once you mount them you don't criss cross just front to rear and back again

The only downside about ordering online is how to get rid of your old tires. Most shops won't take your old tires without charging a fee and it's usually not worth it at that point when you do the math.

you pay the EPA disposal fee up front they or a local facility have to take the tires IMHO

but you can check here http://www.epa.gov/osw/conserve/mate...tires/live.htm

I've online through Tire Rack, 4 Wheel Parts, and Discount Tire. The last two have a physical presence near me, so comfort wasn't a problem, it just saved a lot of the hassle with the tires being at the store when I was, since I apparently only want tires in sizes that the stores don't frequently stock. Tire Rack was a lot more questionable, but the local installer in Lubbock was great and made me feel a lot better.

I've bought tires, welders, and air compressors online, and never had a single problem, just go through a site that is reputable.

Ya every time I look at a tire shop they tell me that it will take a few weeks to get the tires I want.
