I just finished replacing some front suspension parts on my 08 FX4 and I thought I would post up part numbers and prices. I found a lot of conflicting info on the quality/versus price of the replacement parts. I chose to go with the "K" series from Moog, and not the cheaper "R" series. Rockauto is my new favorite place to order from. Their search engine is awesome. It will automatically let you know if they are out of something, before you even order, and give you the option of backordering. Their prices, promptness and shipping costs are great.

The upper ball joints on my truck were flopping around like an old Flounder, so I decided I would do lower ball joints and tie rod ends at the same time. The upper ball joints are not replaceable so we have to replace the whole control arm. The lower ball joints are replaceable, but they are a bear to get out, even with a proper ball joint press. When I was changing everything I noticed the stabilizer end links were shot. I just ordered those and will post a correct part number when I install them.
