Tornado proof!

Hey everyone,

Found this on Faux News:

Oklahoma man thanks Ford after surviving tornado flight in pickup | Fox News

Four people survived being thrown a couple hundred yards by a tornado in their 2011 F150. Of course luck played the biggest part in their survival, but it's still an interesting story IMHO.

Glad to hear they, and to a degree, the ford, survived.

Funny, as much as we complain about how thin the skin is, it sure takes a pounding and protects it's precious cargo.

A little Divine intervention always helps in a situation like that as well. Looks like a lot of sheet metal is still good. Might be difficult to get the streaks out of the windshield, though.

How extremely unfortunate is the loss of life in that event but reading this story makes you sit a little taller with pride about your choice in truck and feel a little safer driving these newer F150s. Of course there were other factors involved but for being tossed 100yds that truck looks pretty much intact considering what it went through not to mention everyone survived in that vehicle.
