Sorry if this is the wrong place for this but the truck is diesel. I just bought a 1992 F-350 DRW Crewcab with a 1994 idi turbo and 5 speed. Love the truck except for the gear rollover from SMF conversion. But enough about that.
Does anyone have a source for the Smoked marker lights that fit on these trucks. All I have found are the newer rounded ones not any that appear to fit the stock bolt holes.
Same advice, clear set from LMC, then smoke aerosol coating. I hate to advise something I have not tried yet, but I read that there is a 50 wt synthetic ATF from Amsoil (for semi trucks) that pretty well eliminates gear rollover noise from SMF's. That's what I'm going to put in mine when I do the ZF swap. It's supposed to also have superb shifting feel, and cold weather shift ability as well. Just something you might want to try but it will be a little hard to find as well. Welcome to FTE and to the IDI group!
Those may work for a newer one, heres the shape he's talking about
Never seen clear ones before, those are neat. Are those the clear ones from LMC? Also, where did you get that visor? Been looking for one of those also. How does it attach to the roof?
Sorry, I should have cited the pic, its someone else's truck from PSN, and the lights are from LMC truck, and I think Summit Racing still sells those visors, I think Lund quit making them.
I will do some checking around and see what I can find. If I can find a source for the visors and lights I will post it up. Surely someone else wants these too.
