A/C recharge location

I want to recharge my AC but I can't find the low pressure inlet. The high pressure is right on top, next to the batteries but I'll be damned if I can't find the low pressure. There's just way too much stuff crammed into this engine compartment!

Any help would be appreciated.

found this on another site
" On diesel equipped vehicles, the low side fitting is hidden by the air filter. Remove the filter cover and the element and you should be able to see it in the line just underneath the PCM connectors."

should be back near the firewall i think on top of the acumilator?

I did pull off the air filter but didn't see the fitting anywhere. Will look again tomorrow.

It's definitely behind the air filter. It's a tight fit, remove the filter housing cover and the filter element. Once you find it, you might be able to get your hand back there without removing the filter housing cover.

How do you remove the air filter housing in a 2008 F350 6.4?

Check S&B instructions on how to install their CAI kit for your truck. There is a good bit in there about removing the housing and such. It's not hard to do. You'll see a picture or two and be good to go.
