You'd be amazed how one runs with the stock pistons and the right cam.

NO TMI pistons. Have been looking at some though

What cam did you put in this motor ? I ran a stock 400 in a 78 SB F100 with the stock pistons with a Summit PN 5200 cam several years ago and it ran great with it. Intake was the stocker topped with a Holley 500 cfm 2 bbl and had nothing else but full length headers.
