I sold my '51 F1 (Lucille) last December so I could finish building my garage/shop which (ironically) I planned on building for the truck. As fate would have it, I ended up working my butt off all winter, rebuilt and sold some motorcycles, and finished the garage with a few extra bucks left. Last week, I found another '51 and this evening I waxed it in my new garage. I have some work to do on her but she's lookin' pretty good so far. Here are a few picks of the truck in her new home (I'm still in the process of transferring all my equipment/tools into the garage and I have some yard work to finish up from all of the construction.)
Hey Wally,
I was about to say "What no tv?" - but it looks like there is a tv
over there in the other bay on a shelf. Man that's a nice looking garage/man cave.
Hey Wally, nice truck and your garage is sweet... I love the pumps, I've got a '56 Gilbarco ...it's sitting in the corner waiting and an ECO air pump to match... Mine will be Sinclair green with the dino on the globe.

Heck, we even ran a cable line out there and the TV is hooked up to a receiver with a sony subwoofer and speakers. I love it out there, nicer than being in the house!

John, those pumps are addicting! I started off buying the '55 AO Smith (Purol) pump. It was all restored and I thought it was too nice to stick outside so I bought the '61 Tokheim from the same guy (it needed restoration... it was really rough). Once I restored it I thought I was all set but them I found the '58 Gilbarco and of course I bought that, (it was in even worse condition than the Tokheim I bought) then restored it. I've spent about $3K on all three pumps (total with restoration) and my wife has banned me from even looking at any more. I love those ECO air pumps but they are just crazy expensive and would lead to some bodily harm from the 5'2" animal I live with. Sinclair green with the dino globe sounds awesome, good luck and post a pic when you're done with it.
