The one and only problem I've experienced with my 2000 Ranger is the Fuel Gauge. At first I thought it was a float that was sticking because if I filled the tank quite full and then parked on an incline the gauge would stick well well above full. The problem would go away and never seemed to surface until a completely full tank again...
Now it's stuck up there permanantly. It looks like it's attempting to point at the h20 temp gauge... the same problem seems to also effect the h20 gauge, it won't drop below about 1/4 either but it seems to register about right when the motor is at opperation temps.
Has anyone experienced this problem? Any solutions? I've looked under their briefly, I haven't followed the wires back to the ECU yet, just haven't had time...
