I need some help.

I have a camper that my father in law wants me to tow from Enon Ohio to Vinton County Ohio. Its about a 100 mile trip. I just know nothing about this camper weight. Its not a pull behind its a drivable camper with a bad motor. I have an 04 F350 SRW What is the max i can tow on my hitch? I have pics i can send, if you email me i will email you the pic. I just am afraid to hurt my truck in towing this beast. Not to mention i dont know if i can rent a trailer big enough.

i think it says so on our hitch or somewhere on the rear bumper tat may loadable weight is 5000 lbs, i think. dont quote me on tat but i think i saw tat once, a bunch of times.

still, it wouldnt hurt for u to double check on ur rear bumper when u get some time, unless u got an aftermarket bumper, then tats bummer. no notice. but the aftermarket bumper will handle a heavier load than the stock one! victory is mine! lol.

sorry, i had a stewie moment from "family guy".

If there is a hitch hooked up, there should be a sticker with the hitch weight.

How much weight it can handle will depend on what Class the hitch is.

I think mine was listed at 10 or 12k, but I haven't looked on that hitch since I bought it. I don't use bumper pulls at all.

If it's a stock hitch, I believe it should be about 6k weight carrying and 12.5k with weight distribution. However, I think your problem will be finding a trailer for that type of hitch that can handle the weight and size of an RV, let alone how to get an RV without a functional motor up on the trailer.
