I am at the salvage yard right now I am looking at a 74 Ranger power steering column. will this work for a 65 power steering upgrade? all my other parts are from a 78
According to fordification.com tech article, the '74 steering coulmn should fit the '65 with no problem. Only minor rewiring to accommodate different wiring plug connections should be needed. Make sure you grab the firewall brackets for the steering column and master cylinder.
