My ignition lock cylinder is on its way out and my driver's door lock cylinder is on its way out also. I figure I'll just buy a kit and change both door lock cylinder and the ignition cylinder and have one key for the truck.
I found out that there's three different kinds of door lock cylinders! (Image courtesy of Steve83)
My truck has the style in the center column. I've noticed that these are a bit more expensive than the ones in the left column.
So, are the ones on the left interchangeable with the ones in the center?
Great! Thanks for the information. I just ordered a complete set (ignition and two doors) of locks for my truck. Got it for under $80 shipped off eBay from seller rocket-keys. They're supposedly OE Ford made by the "HURD Lock Company."
