Will this mirror fit a '93 E150 door?

I don't thinks this will fit your van. That mirror looks like it came from a van newer than 2003 because of the split mirror format. I tried to put mirrors like this on a 1997 and found that the '97 uses three mounting holes. My 2003 and my 2012 use the four hole mount like the one in the picture. It isn't hard to pull the door panel and see which mount yours has.

That mirror does indeed fit the '03's and later---I have one and am in process of modifying them. In model year 2003 the mirrors changed to the four bolt design.

I HATE that lower element since its pretty worthless IMHO---just can not be adjusted to cover blind spots.

If you've not yet bought this look at the '08' which are a single mirror, eliminating that lower bit in favor of a larger rear view.

I have more info on my modification if interested---pictures too!

I didn't buy it but they only want $30 for it. A bit of a hike though.

I find them useful in the brother-in-law's '06 but even he added a fish eye mirror. A vertical split might be more useful to me, though.

That looks to be an OEM part---well worth $30!

Here's what I did, before & after:

I'm trying two different spot mirrors that will eventually be permanently added after they're further evaluated.

I like this style much better, personal taste though. (When adjusted to suit me the second style gives me a better rear view with higher confidence no one's in the blind spot.)

Which ever the driver prefers is best I guess?!

That reminds me when I was in IL and they had construction signs too close to the only lane of traffic on an interstate and I busted off my mirror. The next week when I was there again I decided to look for it. I didn't find it but I found over 20 others laying around. None of them would have fit mine though. Many of them were still intact except for mounts. I complained to the state of IL and they actually paid me for a used mirror I had already purchased and agreed the signs were too close and the next week when I came thru, sure enough, they had moved them.

JWA, I see what you mean. We don't tow so I don't need the wide view. We use the mirrors for parallel parking - to see the wheel opening vs the curb - and keeping the tires right on the edge as we back into our narrow driveway. For parallel parking, the Suburban is high enough that we can feel the curb with the tires. The E150 is lower so the running board might hit a tall curb.

The workaround is to pan the mirrors downward and inward. IIRC some '90s BMWs do that for you when you shift into R.

Let's see how long before someone suggests curb feelers

Wow I remember those for sure---gave the car a sport look way back when huh? Could always tell the worst drivers---their curb side feelers were ripped off, possible body damage too---the very thing those were supposed to prevent!

I don't tow but love the wider field of view since its sometime necessary to switch lanes quickly, need to know if anything's there. The second type help with parking too---can't even get a piece of paper between the tire and curb.
