original hubcaps.. I think

Are these original? off of a 74 f100. Are they worth anything or should I throw them away? I don't want to throw them away if somebody else could use them.

Yes those came on the Explorer trucks. I love that style.

I have set of these too....so if you get requests for more hubcaps than you have send them my way, I'll let them go cheap lol

Yeh I have 4....I'll dig em out and take a pic. I'm not sure if they were explorer only, but these were off a 79 explorer. I think I still might have the hood ornament too.

I've got 4 to 6 of these laying around. Thought about haveing them powder coated but bought rims instead. They are the ones in my Sig. If someone wants all of mine, PM me, I'm not gona use them.

I had this style on my 79 F100 Custom Explorer 2 wheel drive truck. I just got another 79 (F150) but it has White Spoke rims with centre caps. I like the hub cap look better!
I hope to find a set of 4 somewhere someday!

Not a hubcap, it's a wheel cover. Hubcaps only cover the center of the wheel.

1972/76: There are THREE types of these "simulated mag" wheel covers.

1) D2TZ-1130-A .. 5 argent depressions.

2) D5TZ-1130-A .. 5 gold depressions.

3) D5TZ-1130-B .. 5 black depressions.

Metal and or plastic? And yes put them on the FTE classifieds, some folks like them for that OEM look.

I remember the exact set on my dads 73 or 74 ford Explorer with the big rectangle hood ornament.

It is worth noting that #1 has a slightly different design. #2 and #3 have a sort of "flat top" design where the center part is flattened out whereas #1 the center makes a peak. Here is a pic of #2:
