Treating surface rust
On my truck panels I have some what I consider "light" surfacerust. Underneath parts of the cab and bed and the actual bed itself I have somerust that is a little more considerable. However none of this rust is flaking.I am wanting to know what would be the best way to treat this so that I can buymyself sometime before paint. I have heard of people using products like fastetch and then washing that off and wiping with a thinner and then sealing withan epoxy primer with some light 80 hand sanding in between that. I just do notwant to do it wrong the first time just to do it again or screw it up for thepeople that will paint and do the body work. As a Side not the chassis is inreally great shape should I use some type of encapsulate or fast etch on thatas well?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com
