Starter issues
My truck is registered as a 71 has 79 running gear but the engine is a 460 from a ford thunderbird. The last 2 times I have taken it to the mud bogs I have destroyed my starter. Can any one tell me what to do in order to keep it from frying. The starters for the 460 trucks are different then the thunderbird. Would the one for the truck actuallly be better and would it bolt in with no issues.
