i am in the process of making the swap to power steering in my 69 ranger with 360 fe. i put the pump in place just to see how it bolts up. the 2 bolts to the water pump fit nicely, but it seem i am missing some kind of spacer where the bracket bolts to the head.
The factory AC bracket doubles as that spacer when the vehicle is AC equipped, and I just measured one that I have. That spacer should be .375" (3/8") thick. Just stack some washer until you get that thickness if needed, or drill a hole in a piece of round bar stock, the cut off a 3/8" thick piece.

Thanks for the info, and the measurement just what i was looking for.
