Locking/Unlocking while driving

I have searched for a while, and can't find the solution. My doors are locking and unlocking while driving down the road. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I would take your door panel off and check the wiring my guess if you have a wire that is loose and when it moves just right it is triggering the lock mechanism.

That's what I think I'll do. It didn't start doing it till I went down a bumpy dirt road. Do you think it would be in one of the switches?

Could be but with your description I bet it's a loose or frayed wire, and if that's the case it's a 10 minute free fix - if it just needs wrapped up or secured. If it's a frayed one you can probably replace the wire or splice and heat wrapped the bad section. Let us know what you find.

After I go pick up my son in an hour, I'll take the panels off and see what I find.

Well... The problem is not in the doors. It seems to be in the remote start/alarm system the the PO put in the Ex. Since I can't figure out how to get it to work anyways, I just removed the wire harness between the 2 brains of the system

Glad you got it sorted out.

Mine will do that too except it's usually the wife or kids with their feet hanging out the door sill and they bump it (often). No fix for that.
