I just bought a 2009 F250, I am getting a wind noise that I can't figure out where it is coming from. It only happens when I'm going at least 70 and into the wind. It is a short flute sounding noise that is intermittent. Any help would be appreciated.
Or it could be head wind getting under the windshield gasket. Sounds similar to putting a blade of crab grass between your thumbs and blowing? Mind did it too. Take it to a reputable auto glass installer and describe the problem. I do know the guy who fixed mine struggled with it but fixed it. I think he pulled the plastic outer gasket and filled the gap between it and the bed then snapped the plastic gasket back on and let the calk cure. My truck has had almost all of the annoying little nickle/dime problems listed here and counting...sigh.

Interesting, my 11 does the same thing. I will have to check into your fix.
