Something I saw once

I saw this once, and only briefly. There was an older woman apparently driving a motorcycle FROM THE SIDECAR. There was nobody on the bike itself.

I was at a stop sign, and she was on the opposite side. It's been a while, and it was a brief encounter, but I know what I saw. There was some kind of connectiong stuff to the bike's handlebar area.

Anybody ever see anything like that?

hj

yup. on the TV show "counting cars"
they modified a harley for a man that was paralized a few years earlier so he could drive it from the sidecar.
all controls were in the sidecar, no rider on the bike needed. but his wife sat on the bike and went with him..

Hmm. You could have all kinds of fun with that setup... Mount one of those plastic skeletons they use in biology classes on to the bike and have the "rider" in the sidecar be like "what's up?" as you're cruising by...
