I went and saw it this evening. I was very impressed!
Try not to see this in a 'city' with 'city people.' You will be the only one laughing at the Nascar jokes, and people will stare at you not understanding what a bump draft is. Don't count on them knowing who Darryl Waltrip is either, or Richard Petty. Or even the guys on Cartalk on NPR.
Otherwise, VERY well done. I encourage you to spend 7 bucks on it.

I took my son to see it last Sunday, but everyone was going to see it, so we went to Over the Hedge since we hadn't seen it yet anyway. Over the Hedge is hysterical too!! I've been told by two different friends that Over the Hedge is funier than Cars, but they aren't really into cars and trucks like my boy and I. We're going to see it this Sunday. So looking forward to it!!
BTW- I'm a city guy and I KNOW Nascar. I also have Richard Petty's autograph. Talked to him for 15 minutes waiting to get on a plane in Phoenix after a race nine years ago. I've managed to see two Phoenix races and four Texas Speedway races. I haven't been to one for a couple years since my brother-in-law quit Raybestos. What a putz!! Had free tickets and pit passes everytime.
